Titles are the hardest to come up with

well, I have to get better at a lot of things with these blogs... better titles, more often entries... more exciting information.

Tidbits of my life

-Purse club was Dec 3, and it was a blast. We went to Heather Rhodenizer's for our meeting & for once, all 10 of us were there... I was the winner for November, so I had to present what I purchased with my "purse" of bucks. I chose to do a power point of my shopping weekend, (actually 24 hours) with my fashion consultants. My purse is in the picture with my good friend, Lynn. That was my last $10 to spend.
-sweet swap.. with 4 of my friends. I made Chocolate mice.. Jill made peppermint bark, Debbie made Skor Shortbreads, and Cricket made Ginger Sparkle cookies. Oh yum..
I also found a new recipe.. actually 2 new ones, but the Tolberone Fudge is so easy, and so yummy. Recipe Below...
Tolberone Fudge
½ cup white sugar
½ Cup unsalted butter
¾ cup evaporated milk
1 bar (400g – the big one) Tolberone or PC Swiss (cheaper) milk chocolate bar, chopped

Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, with ends of paper extending over sides of pan. Set aside. Place sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large heavy saucepan.
Bring to a full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add Chocolate, stir until completely melted. Pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Remove fudge from pan and cut into squares.
-last week was full of xmas shopping, curling, cleaning, wrapping, cooking, cleaning, work..
normal stuff...
Kid update...
Michelle is in the middle of exams at St. FX and is doing fine. She has 2 finished and 3 to go. She has to stay at school until the 18th of Dec, until all her little darlings are gone home. So the plan is on Dec 17, I will drive down to Antigonish and spend the night in dorms... and we drive home on the 18th. Weather permitting.
Stephanie begins her exams today. She is just home from a full week on "the Dig" in Florenceville. Its been cold and wet, but she loves it. The last few days were getting tiring for her and the work team was getting sick of each other so it was time for a break. So this week, its two exams, and 20 hours of work, she owes to Sue Blair at UNB, and some hours at the Craft Council as well. Busy to the bone. She doesn't plan on arriving home until late the following week, in case she can get a few more days in at the dig before Xmas vacation.
Thats my news.... so far. thanks for reading
